Newmont is providing an update following a seismic event that occurred on Friday, June 19, near our Cadia operations in New South Wales.

All underground personnel were safely returned to surface at the time of the seismic event, with no reported injuries. There was no recorded damage to infrastructure.

Aboveground and underground inspections were completed, and operations resumed over the weekend following a staged restart.
