On April 9th, we announced the establishment of a US$20 million Global Community Support Fund (the Fund) to help host communities, governments and employees combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, we have continued to actively partner with local governments, medical institutions, charities and non-governmental organizations to target resources towards addressing our communities’ and operations’ greatest needs with a view to serve as a catalyst for long-term resiliency and future community development.
Below, we provide an update and highlights of the progress we are making in the three focus areas of the Fund: employee and community health, food security and local economic resilience.
