Newmont Community Support Fund Highlights:

Newmont’s Commitment to Our Workforce

Our values and commitment to our people are central to our decision-making as we weigh short and long-term impacts to our business from the disruptions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. During these anxious times, we want to provide as much certainty as possible to our employees, so they are able to focus on working safely, staying healthy, and caring for their loved ones and each other.

As such, we have made the decision to address near-term economic uncertainties and anxiety by continuing to pay all of our employees through to the end of June.

Newmont’s financial strength provides us with the flexibility to continue supporting our more than 15,000 employees in this way through until the end of June. It is also our ability to maintain cash flow — by keeping our operations running where possible — that allows us to do this. This decision is an investment in our employees and host communities and speaks to the resilience of our business.
