Denver, Colorado

Denver Colorado

Most of Newmont's nearly 600 employees in the Denver area work in the Palazzo Verdi office building in the Denver Tech Center. The Palazzo Verdi is a gold-level certified LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building and offers our employees access to many nearby amenities, such as the Coors Amphitheatre. Newmont provides employees with an ECO pass for public transportation and our office is near the Arapahoe light rail station.

Denver also is home to Newmont's Plato Malozemoff Technical Facility, where scientific experts and process specialists conduct metallurgical research. Since 1953, our research and development group has patented numerous mining technologies. These innovations allow our exploration team to consider "difficult to process" refractory and sometimes marginal deposits, transforming many into profitable operating mines.
