“Talking Safety” Implements 350+ Ideas

Carlin Trend, Nevada
Since early 2008, more than 230 employees from the Carlin Operations and Maintenance teams have collectively submitted 532 safety suggestions as part of the "Talking Safety" program. As of late January, 354 of the suggestions (87 percent) had already been implemented. This level of participation demonstrates employees are being proactive in determining safety concerns within the work force.
